BIBLE STUDIES: Since our purpose as a church family is "to know
Jesus, that He may be known", we provide many Bible studies. And why? Because
if we commit to getting to know scripture -- the Word -- then we are actually
getting to know Jesus more because as found in John 1:1-14 of the Bible, we
learn that Jesus is also known as the Word, or to state it more precisely, He is
the Word that "became flesh". If we commit to understanding the Bible more, then
we will come to know Jesus more including His will, His ways, His character, His
plans, and the depth of His love for us.
TUESDAY EVENINGS 7:00-8:30pm BIBLE STUDIES at Cornerstone Anglican Church
DESIGN FOR DISCIPLESHIP Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30pm
TUESDAY AFTERNOONS BIBLE STUDIES at St. Thomas, 1:00pm.

Christeena Neinhuis: Christeena is currently back in Sarnia and making presentations
on her recent tour of duty in Africa. Pick up a copy of

Cornerstone parishioners are invited to keep our missionaries in your prayers. Thanks!!
And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you,
asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all
spiritual wisdom and understanding. So as to walk in a manner worthy of
the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and
increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all
power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience
with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the
inheritance of the saints in light.

PRAYER MINISTRY: For those who are
hurting, struggling to overcome various sin issues, in need of the Lord's
forgiveness and/or struggling in some way, Prayer Ministry may be for you.
Remember, the healing love of our Lord Jesus is the same yesterday, today
and forever which means He can bring healing not only to recent hurts you
have experienced, but to those experienced long, long ago. As Jesus said
about Himself: "The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to
preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the
prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to
proclaim the year of the Lord's favour." (Luke 4:18-19) Jesus proclaimed these
things about Himself while He was reading from the book of the prophet Isaiah in
a synagogue. (See Isaiah 61:1) His healing love and victory is available to you.
Jesus wants you to experience Him wonderfully surprising ways. If you want to
find out if Prayer Ministry is for you, then contact the church office to find
out more information.
OUR DAILY BREAD devotional booklets -- In case you haven't yet picked up a copy of the current OUR DAILY BREAD

You will find the booklets on the table near the door as you enter. Some
extra copies are also provided for you to give away to others.
Since OUR DAILY BREAD was first published in 1956, it has become the resource
for which RBC Ministries is best known. The daily devotional thoughts published
in OUR DAILY BREAD help readers spend time each day in God's Word. OUR DAILY
BREAD is published and distributed worldwide in more than 40 languages by RBC
Ministries offices around the globe. RBC Ministries also produces a variety of
other Bible resources, which are available for the asking. RBC Ministries is
not funded or
endowed by any group or denomination, but instead by many people, making even
the smallest of donations, who enable RBC Ministries to reach others with the
life-changing wisdom of the Bible.

more weeks TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN LOVING MEMORY of family and/or friends.

place(s) or person(s) in mind as to where the flowers would go following the
When you donate memorial flowers they will be acknowledged during the OFFERTORY
part of each worship service because, in my humble opinion, you are offering
them to God for a variety of reasons such as: (1) to ask God for His ongoing
comfort, love, encouragement, peace and strength as you continue to remember and
grieve the loss of loved ones; (2) to give thanks to God for the lives of those
you are honouring and remembering; (3) to have the flowers used to bless others
once the worship services are over. Therefore, this wording will be used to
announce the donation of flowers during our worship services: "The flowers at
the altar have been given by... To the glory of God and in loving memory of..."
Please "connect" directly with Jessie Hillier about

In your prayers, uphold those whom you know are hurting, suffering, in pain
and/or struggling in some way. Remember, the healing love of our Lord Jesus is
the same yesterday, today and forever which means He can bring healing not only
to recent hurts we have experienced, but to those experienced long, long ago.
